REGULATED FOOD ITEMS & SUPPLY COMPLIANCE
For regulated, controlled or subsidised essential goods, including applicable categories of sugar, cooking oil, rice and other regulated food products, all procurement and supply arrangements are subject to Malaysian laws, applicable licensing requirements, product restrictions and supplier eligibility.
Where required, NOWA coordinates procurement through appropriately licensed and legally operating third-party wholesalers, distributors, grocery businesses or food provision suppliers.
Depending on the product, quantity, intended use and delivery destination, relevant supporting documentation may include:
- Supplier business registration and applicable trading licences
- Controlled goods or wholesale licences, where legally required
